… Jim, the President of Bearings Incorporated…

Jim (Jim S) grew up in the business of Bearings Incorporated.  Jim started in 1964, shortly after the Center Street location opened it’s doors in 1960,  on weekends and after school, scrubbing floors, and general cleaning of the warehouse. 

He became full time in 1969.  He did outside and inside sales through this time period. 

 He is happily married, and has 1 daughter.  Jim is soon to become a grandfather, and definitely enjoys his golf game.

When Bearings Incorporated opened up a secondary branch in 1978, his brother John ran this office, and when John transferred back to Milwaukee; Jim moved to the Bearings Incorporated in  Menomonee Falls; Wisconsin.  He ran this location until we moved to Germantown Wisconsin; in 1992.  At this time we closed the office in Menomonee Falls, as this new building was the new location.  It has more customer parking, and better customer access.

In 1994 he stepped into the presidential postion in Bearings Incorporated.  He still helps customers with  counter sales, and phone sales. 

Jim is excited about our next step into the age of the Internet.  Our website, www.bearingsinc.net is projected to be launched in September 2010, will be more customer friendly; and will create more customer interactiveness.
